James Higgins was saved in 2011 soon after the birth of his first son, Leo.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Information and Library Science in 2013 from the University of Maine at Augusta, and worked as a reference and interlibrary loan librarian at Ellsworth Public Library from 2013 to 2018.
James felt called to leave his library career to join the Facilities team at Crosspoint Church in 2018, and later accepted the Bookkeeper position in 2023.
James has been serving the church by helping with Trail Life on Sunday nights, assisting his wife in Waumba Land, covering for tech booth in Upstreet, and has played several character roles in various skits for Upstreet/CPC Kids, and VBS.
James and his wife Sarah were married in 2017 and they live in Corinth with their children Leo, Asher, Peyton, Paige, and Josephine, and with their Portuguese water dogs, and chickens. When the busy day is done, James likes to unwind with his X Box and sometimes join in a game online with his friends on the Facilities team.
