Crosspoint Church Family, Palm Sunday is this coming Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week and the day we recognize Jesus entering Jerusalem. It is also referred to as the Triumphal Entry. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, Luke 19:10, and the culmination would be His death, burial, and resurrection.  What made Jesus qualified to be the Lamb that would be slain for the world? What was special about Him? What did He accomplish that made Him stand apart from everyone else?  What proof do we have that He was actually God and man? Come join us on Palm Sunday and get answers to these questions! As we celebrate Passion Week and look forward to Resurrection Sunday, may we be thankful for the sacrifice of Jesus! Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Beginning on Sunday, April 28th we will begin a new series on the book of Ephesians. Paul writes from a Roman prison combining doctrinal truth and practical Christianity. He challenges us to know about God and how that relates to us living out our faith. As we learn who we are in Christ, we then can begin to live a life that honors the Lord. As we transition from the book of 1 Samuel, we trust this study in the book of Ephesians will strengthen your faith doctrinally and practically.  Embedded in this book is the discipline needed to develop into a true child of God. You won’t want to miss this series!

Prayer Requests

-For wisdom and strength for ourselves and our families as we continue to provide care and support to our elderly parents.

-For patience and a continued reflection of Jesus love as we continue to navigate the challenges of the Mozambique culture which is so vastly different than our US home.

Praises

-For our adult sons, daughter in-law, and grandchildren who continue to seek to honor and serve the Lord.

-For the great privilege of overseeing our restaurant and hospitality business “Rickshaw’s” which provides an opportunity for employment of Mozambicans and the example of a Christian run business and family environment for the many employees who are first generation Jesus followers.
