Crosspoint Worship & Media Ministries exist to ignite a passion for God through creative and purposeful expressions of worship that edify the church, connect with our community, and magnify Jesus Christ as we bring people into a growing relationship with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Vision

We seek to be a community of artists, musicians and creatives that strive to live lives of worship in all that we are and do. We seek to exercise our gifts to the glory of God while deferring to one another in love, striving for excellence in our craft, and by remaining humble and teachable in our character. We will continue to look for effective ways to engage our community with the life-changing truth of God. We will expect more of ourselves than we do of others and always esteem others as better than ourselves. We will pray together, laugh together and cry together. We will create together in community, as those who are created in the image of God, recognizing that what we can accomplish together is far greater than what we can accomplish alone.

Our Values

  • Edify - We seek to honor each other as expressed through our love for one another
  • Connect - We seek to engage our community by being invitational and excellent in our approach
  • Magnify - Above all, we seek to glorify God by living a lifestyle of worship daily

Auditions & Rehearsals

15133758_1022254654549624_969379021_o.jpgRehearsals for our Contemporary services are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm. Excellence honors God and inspires people. While we make every attempt to work “smart, not hard”, we also realize that the road to excellence is paved with hard work and there are no shortcuts. We all want to be part of something bigger than ourselves and our rehearsal time is vital to accomplish this.

Auditions may be scheduled by contacting our music director, Jane Mick (jane@crosspointbangor.com) and are generally held on Wednesdays before or after our regularly scheduled rehearsal times. We have positions available for rhythm section (drums, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and keyboards) as well as strings (violin, viola, cello, string bass) and brass (trumpet, sax, trombone). We will periodically present a large praise choir (un-auditioned) as well as opportunities for vocalists on one of our praise teams.

These opportunities range in experience from entry level (no experience necessary) to professional and semi-professional skill levels. However, no matter who you are or what experience you have, there is a place for you on our team! From our “prayer band” that lifts our team up in prayer as we lead each week to tour-level technical operators, we would love the opportunity to meet you and help you find a place in engaging our people and our community in worship of the King of kings. If you are interested in any of the above, simply fill out the form below and we will get back with you promptly.

When you surrender your life and your gifts to God, you are harnessing the power to transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit. Reach out today, we’d love to hear from you!
