Steve Young has been a part of the Crosspoint family since January of 2023. He grew up just outside of Louisville, KY where his family still lives today. In 2009, he followed his childhood pursuit and joined the U.S. Army and served his country for nine years.
Steve graduated from Liberty University, earning a Bachelor of Behavioral Sciences, Church Ministry and Christian Leadership, and Biblical Studies in 2023. He met his wife, Kelly, through friends at Liberty University and upon completion of residential courses moved to Maine where Kelly is from. Kelly has been a Nurse since 2013 and is still practicing today.
Steve and Kelly have been involved in missions work all around the world prior marriage, and as a team to partner with the global church in sharing the love of Jesus with the lost. Sharing their excitement for and inviting others to join in missions both locally and globally with those around them is one of the things that fuels their hearts.
Steve joined the Crosspoint's pastoral staff in June 2024 as the discipleship and outreach pastor. He and Kelly are excited to step into this season of life that the Lord ha brought them into.
Steve and Kelly are expecting their first child in September 2024 and cannot wait! For fun, they like to be outside as much as possible. Steven loves to hunt and fish, Kelly loves to be in her garden, and they both love a good hike in the mountains.
