Crosspoint at the Cross Center

Annotation-2019-03-30-131708_smaller.pngWe are super excited to celebrate this coming Easter Sunday at the Cross Insurance Center!  The Theme for our Easter Service is “Who Is Jesus?” We are praying many people from outside the churched community will join us! We invite you to join our volunteer team serving during the service.   Easter is April 21st, and the service will begin at 10:00AM.  We invite you to volunteer as an usher/greeter/ runner/tear down/worker bee!  We need a lot of people and there are various duties we need filled. We’d love to have you as part of the Crosspoint Team!  You can sign up at the Kiosk! The sign up at the kiosks can be found under the volunteer tab. Even if you are currently helping on Sunday morning you still need to sign up to help at the Cross Center. We have two meetings scheduled but you only need to attend one, Thursday, April 4 at 6pm in the auditorium or Saturday, April 6 at 8:30am in the auditorium. It is important to make one of these meetings because it will take a lot of coordination to be ready for Easter. We are asking that everyone attending bring a non-perishable item for people in need. It will also be refreshing to be able to worship together as a church body instead of being carved up in three different services. This will be a huge endeavor, but it is exciting to see what God will do as we take the church to the community, Mark 16:15!!!

We are asking folks to bring an item to help those who are struggling in our community. We will have a trailer where you can drop off your donation as you enter the Cross Center. Here are some suggestions for you to bring.

Non-food: Diapers (larger sizes especially; size 4, 5 & 6); Tooth brushes/paste; Feminine Products; Hand warmers; Feet warmers; Pull-ups; Baby wipes; Baby wash; Bibs; 1 gallon zip locks; Laundry soap; Bar/bath soap; Toilet paper.

Food Items: Canned soup; Tomato products; Canned meat; Shelf stable milk; Protein bars; Peanut butter; Snack foods; Breakfast foods; (PLEASE NO PASTA!).
